Have you heard? The Cazalets are coming back!
Elizabeth Jane Howard’s niece, the novelist Louisa Young will write three more instalments, picking up the saga in Christmas 1962 with The Golden Hours - which is a very suitable Cazalettish title. They’ll be published by mantlepressbooks - the imprint of panmacmillan which publishes Howard’s original Chronicles.
We do have to wait until next September but these are such glad tidings, I’m taking it as an early Christmas present.
(Yes, I know I’m missing All Change. I cannot think where it has got to, but shall now have to chase down a replacement in this particular set - which is from my teen years so, ahem, a small while ago.)

Fell in love with this sweater in _albaray last week when I popped into their store in Bath though now I'm sad because I should haveI should have bought the animal print jeans that were hanging on the same rail.
I've seen a few people wearing _albaray clothes on here and as I thought I would, I loved everything in the shop... But I resisted. I'm actually getting quite good at that.
Anyway, I love everything about the sweater, the shape, neckline, colour...I'm wearing a size 10 (more often I'm a 12) but a) they didn't have a 12 & b) it's quite loose. I'll be wearing it loads this winter.

Slowly, slowly, life is falling back into place....
Sure, I'm taking quite literally hundreds of tablets a week now and am powered by M0rphine, tea and the fear of listening to myself moaning, but, the small wins are coming thick and fast at the moment ☀️
Everyday this week I've managed to see me pals, enjoy the sunshine, work, exercise, take care of my needs, and enjoy the outside - all pipedreams a few weeks ago.
What's really nice is that all of this stuff doesn't yet seem normal..I'm still I'm in a giddy haze of lapping every second of this up, and honestly I've never been more full of joy. Whether it's just curled up on a friend's sofa or out for a gentle walk, it's all just so deeply joy inducing to me right now 🤍
