What does Smart Works do?
Smart Works help unemployed women to get the coaching, clothing and confidence they need to secure employment and chance the trajectory of their lives.
Smart Works was launched in 2013 to help empower unemployed women with the clothes, coaching and confidence they need to succeed at their job interview and transform their lives.
They opened our first centre in Islington in 2013. Since then, we’ve grown to meet the need, opening 11 more centres across England and Scotland. Women are referred to us from job centres, refuges, the prison system, homeless shelters and mental health charities, among other organisations. They’ve supported more than 40,000 women to date but know there are thousands more that need our help. Find out more here
